Query - RPT operators in Australia

All, now that Australian Aviation magazine no longer does airline directories I am chasing a current list of RPT operators in Australia - no matter how big or small they are!! (A Google search proved fruitless...)

try a search for scheduled passenger services on the AOC section of the CASA site.

Leave the name blank and jus tick the scheduled passenger box. I found 41 in Australia

Hi Damian

We last did an airline directory in our may 2005 issue. The reason we dropped the directory (which we compiled from scratch and ran annually) was because we just didn't have the resources available to dedicate to doing it properly.

There are no plans to resurrect it at this time.

Cheers

Maybe you can get your kids to do it, Andrew?

They already take all your photos!

It's a shame AA had to give it up, but the mag does have a small team like Andrew says and it certainly was a mammoth task to keep track of everything.

But there's no reason why we (the YSSY Message Board) couldn't establish our own wiki-based Directory. We've got people in various parts of Australia to keep us in the loop with arrivals and departures, some wonderful photographers and very knowledgeable people in general.

I've got writing and editing skills both from my past and present careers, so I'd be more than happy to be involved in the documentation side of things.

Just a thought anyway. :)

We'd happily host any project like that, Adrian...
