QF / CX FF Seating Question
 

Hi all,

Finally managed to use our bucket of QF FF Points to fly Business Class to London on Cathay Pacific in September 2015.

Question - do I call Qantas for seating, or Cathay? We have QF PNR's, but the QF website is so basic and only allows window or aisle preference, which is totally redundant with the CX long haul business config of 1-2-1 anyway. As a couple, we want to lock in seats if we can.

I would recommend calling CX for seating. Call QF first and ask for the CX PNR that will also be associated with the booking, as CX will need that PNR to assist you. QF will have the CX PNR information also.

Got my seats sorted out. Our QF Reloc worked in the CX website, and you can choose away to your hearts content, then those same seats actually display in your booking in the QF website - who knew it was this integrated? :)
