There was an unusual departure movement this afternoon, QF761 VH-VZS was taxiing on Alpha behind Etihad 451 A6-ETN, both heading to the Alpha 6 Holding Point. When QF761 reached Alpha 5 it turned onto the Runway and taxied south towards Alpha 6, then doing a 180 and departing. I didn't have ATC on to hear what was going on, but I would assume that Etihad had a hold up for some reason.

It looks like Cessna 650 VH-LYM just completed one of the fastest flights between Sydney and Bankstown, departing on Sydney Runway 25, and landing on Runway 29C at Bankstown - the shortest route possible from the best combination of runways. FlightAware lists a duration of 3 minutes - I wonder if they raised the undercarriage ?

You should have a Comlux Malta A319 in tomorrow plus the Transavia 738 PH-HSA should operate for Air Vanuatu this coming Sunday.

While at the airport today, noticed a Westwind is in the paint shop ATM (likely KNS)

Paspaley Pearl VH-PPD Dassault Falcon 900C departed for Darwin yesterday, just as a heavy storm hit Wagga.

Today;
Australian Helicopters/Ambulance Victoria VH-YXH AugustaWestland AW139 called though Wagga for fuel (heading north to be fitted out) [missed getting a photo]

Corporate Aircraft Charter VH-ZLE Cessna Citation 550 departed (not sure when it arrived but possibly yesterday. Lightning and heavy rain disabled both FR24 and Raspberry Pi).

Network Aviation VH-NHM Fokker 100 is on-route to Wagga from Perth.

Evening all,

Transavia B737-800 PH-HSA begin its lease with Air Vanuatu today. It will be operating for Air Van until their new B737-800 arrives in the new year.
