Perth idle Ozjets
Hi all, I have been travelling to Perth for work on a regular basis and always notice the two Ozjet 732s parked in a very remote area of the field. Certainly they have been there for many years and will most certainly not fly again, but if they are to get the chop, does anyone know why this has not yet taken place and who currently owns these frames?

I think that they are:
VH-OZU -> N733HL VH-OZX -> N737HL Both are owned by Flightstar Trading, Fort Lauderdale FL, USA Another is a training aid at Jandakot |
VH-OZU when it was flying into Sydney

The parking fees now exceed the value of the aircraft, so until Perth airport go through the proper debt recovery procedures they just wait.

Mark,
Does that mean eventually sold to a scraper to recover part of the debt ? |

Out of curiosity, would there be any pilots in Australia who could still fly a 737-200?

QF Air Freight/Nauru Airlines are still flying -300 series aircraft. So there maybe pilots/crew out there. |

Grahame, can you refrain from posting pictures in most threads unless stated in the thread title. Some of us browsing on mobile use up a lot of data having to download these photos on threads where a link to the picture may be more appropriate. Thank you.
