Domestic sector on an international flight

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to go to Adelaide in a few weeks' time and I want to take QF81, which leaves from the international terminal. Does one require a passport to do such a flight? I submitted my passport renewal form today and who knows when it will arrive in the post. Can I book this flight in the knowledge that even if I don't have a passport by the time I fly I will be able to catch it?

Thanks
Ed

Your driver's licence is sufficient.

Immigration stamp your boarding pass, with the D sticker on it.

It's quite a bit of hassle for what it is.

Michael is right. Just bring your drivers license and show it going through immigration. A passport is not required unless you don't have a drivers license. At the other end, you just need to show your boarding pass with the "D" sticker so you don't wait in the big line with everyone else and you can leave.

Thanks for the quick replies.
