Air China Update
 

G'day all,

This Friday Air China will begin their extra CA173-174 Beijing-Sydney-Beijing flight. This service has recently increased from 3 to 4 services per week.

The current 4x weekly CA175-176 fliught will remain at 4x weekly.

This means on friday's there will be two Air China flights operating in and out of Sydney.

CA173 Arr into Sydney at 0615
CA175 Arr into Sydney at 0915

CA176 Dep Sydney at 1045
CA176 Dep Sydney at 2100

Also the current BEI-PVG-MEL-PVG-BEI will increase form 3 to 4 flights a week.

In regards to my first post in this thread. The extra CA173-174 on fridays will begin from December.

The 4th flight for Melbourne will begin this Sunday.

I have also read they want to begin a third port and increase flights to 21 flights a week.

CA173 is due from Beijing at 0637 according to the Sydney Airport Site.

Sorry to bring this thread up again.

Effective today until June 10 CA175-176 Beijing - Shanghai - Sydney will be reduced from 4 to 3 weekly. Flights will not operate on Wednesday into Sydney.

Also from today till June 01 CA177-178 Beijing - Shanghai - Melbourne will be reduced from 4- 3 weekly as well. Flights will not operate on Thursday's into Melbourne.

Sorry to Bring this topic back up, But Air China are bringing back their 8th flight a week to Sydney from 27 Nov 09- 03 Mar 10 on the Beijing-Sydney-Beijing.

*Operational days in and out of Sydney are Tuesday's, Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's *

The CA175-176 (Beijing-Shanghai-Sydney-Shanghai-Beijing) Arr Syd 0915 Dep Syd 1045
*remains unchanged with a 4x a week frwquency on Sunday, Maonday, Wednesday and Friday's.*

With the 8th flight it again will make Friday the day for two Air China Aircraft into Sydney.

They will be also increasing the Beijing-Shanghai-Melbourne route during the same period from 4 to 5 flights a week. Flights will arrive and depart Melbourne on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Sorry to bring this topic back up but, as per my previous post I said Airt China were going to 8 flights. Now they have increased to 10 flights a week. Period 30NOV09 and 01FEB10

The extra 3 flights will make Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's the days for two Air China Aircraft into Sydney.
