Rrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeexxxxx!!!

Not sure if has been covered, but does anyone else enjoy the antics of one of the controllers. His really enjoys his REX movements. This morning was the first time I heard the aircrew respond with a extened RRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEXXX call to match the ATC, quite entertaining.

Haha I have heard that guy doing approach too. He was saying

"Rrrrrrrrrex 414 turn left 360 report visual"

"Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrunway 34L in sight Rrrrrrex 414".

Unlike the boring ATC when V Australia came in and didnt say anything cool.

Bernie P 18th March 2009 01:00 PM

Stutter (and trying to control it) maybe anyone???

NickN 18th March 2009 01:21 PM

Something like "R-r-r-r-re-x c-c-c-leared to l--l-l-l-and"

Robert Zweck 18th March 2009 01:32 PM

Maybe this guy should do the ATIS ( new Aussie accent )

So that it is not so stunted and jumpy.........

Rrrrrrrrrex 414
That's a new one, never heard of a 414 before...

There is one SYD captain who's well-known for the extended Rrrrrrrr, as well as the controller.
