Rex Emergency landing 3pm today
 

My son and I were spotting at the beach this arvo and a Rex returned to YSSY with some sort of smoke issue or smoke alarm issue in the cargo area??.

It pulled over at the fist taxiway on 34L with no issues, five or so Fire appliances in attendance, they bussed the passengers out and towed her back. Not something you see every day.

Anyone have any further details?
