Callsign request - "Fresco"

Any one have any idea which military aircraft is using the callsign 'Fresco'. They seemed to be operating somewhere around Bondi. It was working with 'Raider' F-18s.

"fresco" is a callsign used by pelair learjets operating out of NAS Nowra... may have been operating off the coast... out of interest which radio freq did you hear them on???

I have heard them too.

The other day they were on 125.8. Also heard them on 135.9

They were told "fresco 1 and fresco 2, contact merlin in the richmond restricted area stud 15".

I had been wondering what they were ever since.

Thanks for that guys. They are operating again today on 234.900 and 133.100. It sounds like an exercise in intercepting slow movers. Merlin, Raider and Fresco callsigns being used.

Raider are 3sqn Hornets.
