Video: Aborted Landing - Virgin Atlantic Airways

She goes around after a hard touchdown. Not scary. Just interesting to watch. Note: Please turn down the volume if you object to videographer commentary while watching videos.

Thornton, great video, and I must say the "videographer commentary" was quite funny :)

Will definitely have to check out Boston sometime soon.

LOL!! Sounds like you didn't heed the warning to turn down the volume.

Haha. Sorry Thornton. I did quite the opposite to be honest. I actually intended to get more sound out of the engines.

I believe that many videos on Youtube (especially ones with T/O and Landings) are heightened in their viewing experience when the volume is turned up to make it seem as if your are really on the plane itself. Then again, maybe that's just me :P

I've checked out almost all your aviation videos now on your channel, and I must say, your commentary is great to have and nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sure you'd find most people on this forum get just as excited about flying heavy metal as you do.

Keep up the good work

Cheers

P.S. a possible suggestion for the future? Any chance of getting some ATC combined with the footage? It's just a suggestion so its cool if it is not possible/practical for you.
