mystery white plane over sydney cbd
 

Guys i got a call from one of the boys at work asking about a large white plane circling over the city.. unfortunately he didn't give me much more to go by..


any ideas

Nothing on webtrak between 1:30-2pm, just aircraft banking over the CBD as normal

Might have been the A320 chatered by Virgin from strategic airlines

Circling over the city? I doubt that. Strategic A320 only did BNE-SYD-BNE last night and again tonight.

Any idea which A320/`s operated this services?

VH-YQA operated yesterday's flights, I presume it did todays flights.

Could the mystery white plane have been what looked a lot like a Constellation that I saw over Manly way? Didn't get a good look at the markings, it wasn't the Qantas one, are there any others flying still round here? It was on Webtrak as non-commercial and did a bit of circling over the harbour then headed up the Northern beaches and disappeared.

You may be 100% correct Jude as "Connie" was doing stuff airshow like on 21/9 and 22/9 so this maybe the plane in question.
