Rego requests - Richmond 23 March 2011
 

Hi all

If anyone knows the ID of the USAF C-17 at Richmond yesterday morning
(7.30 ish) I would appreciate that info. (It had left by 4.45pm)

Also can anyone confirm that the remaining 3 707's there are A20-623/624/629?

Where did you get this information Ryan and do you have a reg?

The C-17 was 05-5142, from March ARB, CA.

It was operating the weekly USAF mission from Travis AFB, CA to Alice Springs, NT.

My uncle is crewing it, delayed though apparently

If it was the normal C17 that I hear, its usually RCH5E1; "Reach Five Echo One".

Can't confirm though.

RCH7E1 this week.

The USAF seems to have changed their mission callsigns from the start of this year and a Travis operated service is 5E1, Hickam is 6E1 and March is 7E1.
