Wow,

does it not seem like the pax just stand around after vacating the aircraft for a good amount of time? i'd be headed away from the plane asap!

NO, you head back in under the aircraft to get some really good footage on your mobile phone to show the judge just how close to death you came in that terrifying experience that's traumatized you for the rest of your life which is why you're suing Delta for every cent they've got.

Love how the No 2 engine gets rifled from behind with the water cannon. I don't know the flying status of the aircraft once the landing gear assembly gets looked at, but the engine might need a change too.:p

So why did the tail fall off?

Fred C 29th May 2011 08:40 PM

That would be the emergency escape on a DC-9 MD-80 717 whatever it is.:D

I don't know why the second fire engine to roll up finds it necessary to fire foam into the back of the aircraft (where passengers could still be evacuating) and on the R/H engine when it is the R/H gear that is on fire?

Nigel C 29th May 2011 08:59 PM

Hell, you've got an actual aircraft with a real fire on it....why not practice your fire fighting skills on the whole damn thing!:p:D

The above comment is laced with sarcasm, in case anyone didn't get it.
