Scoot (TZ5) delay in OOL today
 

Noticed a delay in TZ5 departure from OOL today. Does anyone know what actually happened? Thank you.

In a nutshell it was a cockpit computer warning and a fuel tank seal that engineers needed to replace. Took longer than expected to fix the fuel tank seal, aircraft eventually left just over 6 hours late.

It's good that they put a summary up on Facebook too, first time I've seen it done like this! :)

Brock, thanks for the info. Missed that on Facebook. Like the way Scoot handled the situation.

Did Scoot summarize the delay in any other mediums apart from Facebook ? . If they did , then fair enough . If the only delay explanation was via Facebook , I would have to say not good enough . It's all to easy these days to make the assumption that we are all Facebook tragics , but guess what ? .. I hate Facebook and won't go near it ..
