QF1 returning to SYD? 31OCT
 

Just monitoring Planeplotter and noticed VH-OQF at FL250 just north of Lithgow heading for SYD!

Yep - Just been given it's landing clearance for RWY 34L - will be heading to Bay10.

Edit: Landed, firies on runway followed with a safety car for a runway inspection.

Edit: Returned due medical - Pax with Asthma requiring attention.

Edit: Revised ETD 2135.

Crook engine?

According to the QF website its delayed with a 2135 departure time. Hard to see that happening if its not even on the ground yet.

That's what the ETD was around 8.17pm when I last posted :) So looks to be updated.
Media outlets are suggestng fumes filled the cabin.

Fumes in the cabin seems to be the reason for return. If it is an engine problem I doubt the same aircraft will be doing the run in the morning.;)

No impact to schedule of return flight (QF10/01NOV)

VH-OQC did the delayed QF001 service this morning.:D
