Jetstar VH-VFN 100th aircraft decal

Keep an eye out for VH-VFN sporting a special decal as Jetstar's 100th aircraft.

This is also the first Jetstar (Australia) A320 with sharklets.

I haven't crunched the numbers but does anyone know if the 100 frames includes every aircraft that has operated in the Jetstar group - such as the start up 717s and the Jetstar Pacific 734s for example?

Actually, I can answer my own question there...

The Jetstar Source lists the current fleet as:

Jetstar (Australia)

A330-200 x11
A321 x 6
A320 x50

Jetstar Asia

A320 x19

Jetstar Pacific

A320 x4
B737-400 x3

Jetstar Japan

A320 x7

This totals 100 aircraft so does not include the 14 B717s and one A320 (VN-A196) and one B737-400 (PK-LIG) from BL

JQ 100th A320 - Decal

Jetstar unveiled their 100th A320 (with decal) today in Melbourne.

VFN will operate its first revenue flight today as JQ440 to the Gold Coast.

Expect it operating to Sydney, Cairns and Brisbane tomorrow.
