Thanks for sympathising James...and also thanks for the information.
I just had a quick look at the QF website, and sure enough there is a QF A380 flight out of LAX on a Sunday from 04/01/09 ...exactly 2 weeks after I arrive back in Sydney. Seems like it's just not meant to be... ah well.
So Boeing's delays cost me my flight with VA and their 77W...and Airbus' delays cost me a flight on QF's A380. Talk about unlucky.
Here's to hoping that there is a schedule change and that VH-OQB is put into service for QF11/12 the weekend before Christmas.
