i do believe the terminal area where the gates are are closed unfortunately.
i remember many times in both DJ and QF/JQ terminal that when a late arrival comes in, no one is aloud past the security point. and my flight landed about 11.40pm and my family members picking me up had to wait where the baggage claim caracells are.
so im guessing 10.30-11ish will be the cut off point
