Well I may as well add my 1.67 cents (Damn US dollar!)
I like it. Its simple and I reckon it's quite striking in it's contrast.
And yes it would be cheaper to have a predominately white aircraft and in the age of rising costs it is a perfectly legitimate reason to change (IMHO).
I can hear the uproar now when the cabin crew explain to their passengers that they now have to pay to use the toilet because people insisted on their aircraft being painted in elaborate colours and schemes!
