On my way back from an aerobatic flight in a Pitts S-2B down at Camden yesterday, I wanted to stop in at Bankstown to have a look at
the two new EFIS equipped Warriors at Schofields. Also new is a Redbird Full Motion Sim with a C182 G1000 Panel, which is used as part
of the conversion to the EFIS cockpit, two hours dual in the aircaft, one hour in the Redbird simulator and a one day EFIS theory course.
I was also on the lookout for Cessna C172S N5224A which was recently ferried to Sydney and mentioned in another thread. Unfortunately
it was not to be seen, maybe in a hanger for conversion back to the standard configuration,
Piper Warrior VH-ZFY (2842268) 2006 is equipped with an Avidyne PFD and MFD, and dual Garmin 430s. One the left there is a traditional
backup Air Speed Indicator, Artificial Horizon and Altimeter. VH-ZFX and ZFY are both very clean and well presented aircraft.
Piper Warrior VH-ZFY (2842268) 2006 - sister ship VH-ZFX is similarly equipped.
Diamond DA-20-C1 VH-DIU (C0531) 2008 on the flight line.
Diamond DA-40 VH-END (40.448) 2004 on the flight line.
Cessna 750 VH-RCA (750-0012) 1997 operated by Business Aviation Solutions - this is one beautiful corporate jet and I believe one of
the fastest point to point corporate jets around.
