They have attempted twice now to replace the 747 classics and have failed. September was the last planned visit, then from the 27th November it was suppose to be all 744 and A332 ops.
Todays flight seems to be yesterdays flight delayed, the aircraft must of went tech or servicing somewhere else since they used the 747 classic.
For the last several months N761SA has been the only Southern Air 747 classic operating for MASkargo too. I imagine they will keep the 747 classic until all their A332 Freighters arrive.
I doubt this will be the last time in Sydney for Southern Air 747 classics. N761SA will be back just not as often.
