Sydney centre amusingly asked kkb to triple verify they were intending to land at Sydney on first contact

must be a first for a 152 in there- I know some 172s have flown in years ago..
Kkb was held over the bridge before being cleared visual into 16L.
Shortly after kkb landed QLK24 dh8-300 had an incident and required immediate turn back to 16L. Alarms sounding in background and pilot was barely audible .. Anyone know what happened to them?
