Hopefully by the time it's up and running, RNP approaches with curved flight paths will make it a much more efficient approach than the current arrangement at YSSY. That will most likely negate approach paths extending well out from the runways.
Personally, I don't see a massive noise or flight path impact from Badgery's Creek by the time it commences operations. The advancement in technology should help.
