Just found this historic photograph from Bankstown in May 1991, Gabby Kennard's Piper Saratoga PA32 R301 VH-GKF "Slender You Lady"
in which she completed a solo around the world flight, the first by an Australian woman. Gabby's solo around the world flight begain at
Bankstown at 0855 on 3 August 1989 and took 99 days to complete, not the 42 she had planned. I checked the Australian register and
the Saratoga is still on there (presumably the same aircraft). Video available at
