One of Emirates five A380 with the "Year of Zayed" livery visited Sydney Airport overnight. A6-EEU operated EK414 arriving in Sydney at 2238L last night, and departed early this morning as EK415 to Dubai at 0556L. Although the aircraft has visited Sydney many times, this was its first visit in this new livery.
Emirates unveiled this special tribute livery to the late HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, on their 100th A380 A6-EUV. Five A380s and five B777s will carry the "Year of Zayed" livery, with A380s A6-EEU, A6-EUA, A6-EUZ, A6-EUV, and B777s A6-EQH, A6-ECE and A6-EPP completed so far.
