It is very common thing.There is not all that work around the world for these aircraft.Better to stay put to something comes up elsewhere.

124's are usually used for generators,mining equipment,military vehicles,tanks and helicopters,large pop bands etc.So you will see them around military exercises such as ROK and Generators to say ADL and recently car or motor cycle events in MEL and Rolling Stones type concerts.
