King 32 is part of the 71st Rescue Squadron, which is part of the 347th Rescue Group, which is in turn part of the 23rd Wing. The 23rd Wing carries the history of the 23rd Fighter Group ("The Flying Tigers" of WWII), hence the FT (Flying Tigers) tailcode and shark mouth nose art.
