Default Xiaotangshan & EK First.

Hi All,

just a small trip report without too much talk from me. I recently had the opportunity to visit the amazing city of Beijing, whilst there I took the chance to venture out to the China Aviation Museum.

I have uploaded a small amount of photos for this report, there is much to see and do at this fantastic museum.

How to get there : take Line 5 Subway to the very last stop in the North, then jump on the 643 bus at the train station and 20mins later you will be there.

Ask your hotel to write the museum name in Chinese, you will need 1.5 rmb for the bus, 2rmb for the train and I cannot remember the tunnel entry fee.

I found it to be well worth the money & I look forward to visiting China again in about 6 months.

There was the opportunity to fly EK first in the suites too, I have included some images of the service provided on both those flights.

any questions about Xiaotangshan, just ask.

enjoy.

Mao Zedong' personal plane.

flight deck of Mao' personal plane.

even Mao had to sleep!

a journey back in time & well worth the 10rmb entry fee.

sit where Mao and others sat.

food time, something I like to know about...if that cabin could talk!

looks more like a house set-up.
