Default Look out for the Boneyard Wrangler

Apparently F-111G A8-272 The Boneyard Wrangler will be departing RAAF Amberley today heading by road for Point Cook, arrival is scheduled for 1/5/09.

Would have been great to be along side the road somewhere to see it go past. Shame they are being retired..super plane!!!

O/T but similar story over in the US of A, moving an F-16 in Thunderbirds colours to a museum as well this week.would of been great to drive behind, bit on the slow side but still!

Had a look at the defence site today and they have put up its collection of photos. Some great ones in there.
