Stuart, Just had a look at the weekly timetable on Qantas.com, and looks like this flight has been cut back to 5 per week. I intially thought it may have had something to do with the incident in BKK earlier in the week. The flight looks like it departs LHR on Tue, Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun only now.
Regards, Kieran.

Hi Stuart,
If you look at next weeks flights for QF2 starting Tue 13th April, there is no Wednesday flight. The following week the flight is back to daily. Probably a schedule issue because of the recent incidents.

Stuart, QF2 operates into Sydney, not Melbourne. You're not maybe confusing this flight with QF10 which arrives in Melbourne on Friday 9/4/10 at 4:45 am? QF2 cannot land in Sydney until after 5:00 am on the 3 services per week it arrives prior to 6:00 am, when daily services resume from 20/4/10.

Over the last 2 weeks, and for the next week, Qantas has cut back on 744 flights presumably for scheduled maintenance coming up to the northern summer schedule coming into effect Apr15. QF2 had never operated Apr07, regardless of the recent 'issues'. Again, from Apr15, QF1/2 goes daily, at least for a few weeks.
QF10 is operating by VH-OQA. Interestingly, QF32 was operated by a 744, which was meant to be a 380, and QF10 was meant to be a 744. It departed a short time ago and is still operating, arriving early tomorrow morning

Dont know if this information helps guys but Tuesday nights QF2 departure from LHR was originally delayed until 0800 Wed due to the incident with OJF in Bangkok. OJN operated the delayed inbound QF1 arriving at 0244 into LHR on Wednesday morning. However the revised departure time of QF2 of 0800 was pushed back to 22.00. OJN then operated a delayed QF32 not departing until 17.13 instead of 12.05 with A380 OQA which operated an on-time QF10 at 22.05. QF2 was operated by OJQ leaving at 22.20 and was indeed showing a Bangkok/ Melbourne routing with an estimated arrival time of 0350 friday morning.Aircraft left Bangkok at 17.40 Thurs and now due into Melbourne at 05.15 Fri. Thought this was a bit strange but guessed the aircraft was needed in Melbourne for some reason and Bangkok to Sydney passengers were placed on the BA9??
