Default The Poms are finally leaving

According to Ch9, the Poms are on a charter flight tonight. Couldn't bear fly out commercially after a horrendous summer I guess.

Any ideas who they are flying? Are there any BA aircraft on the ground?

Cheers

M

Not that I'm aware of Mark! I could only think that they would be on EK415 tomorrow morning

At the end of the second T20 game, S. Broad (Boo Hiss Boo) said that at they were leaving 2 hours after the last T20.

Curfew issues were my first thought too.

During the coverage Michael Slater said something about EK. certainly not a commercial flight tonight.

Cheers

I was confused as well - unless the game was rained out, they had no chance of making one of the last flights. Even more unlikely being at Homebush rather than the SCG.

They flew out on the 6am EK flight so I am sure they didn't get much sleep. They arrived at Heathrow on the EK5 flight (which departs DXB mid afternoon) so the 6am flight ex SYD would have been the one they were on to connect.

I would have been happy to lift the curfew just to make sure they were gone.

Tim - I thought the Aussies would like having them around - after all they're the only team they've beaten in some time
