Default C-130 around Manly?

Was listening on the radio today and i've been hearing a C-130 (Trojan12) saying that he was doing some air drops in the Manly beach area, 2 miles out and around 1000ft.
Did anyone see this or know what they were doing?

Cheers

Bobcat have been down south in Navy areas east of Nowra operating with the RAN also pelair lear jets... Recovered to Nowra mid morning then back out to the areas... guess they were heading north to Williamtown this arvo... FCP-09 is under way in the east coast restricted areas so should be lots of action up and down the coast in the coming weeks...

Did anyone else see low flying Black Hawks in Parramatta this afternoon at about 4pm. Was driving down Hassel street i think it was and they were coming straight at me at about 500ft with black boots hanging out of the side doors lol. Actually would the it have been doing the same sort of stuff with the hurc over the ocean because it did come from the east?

Watched two hawks take off at work about 3:30pm ish. One in 76 sqn marking and the other from perth. Learjets have been quiet active the last couple of days and expecting more hawks in nowra of the next week or two.

Cheers

Adam
