What has happened to QF 93 this morning? It has diverted to Sydney after doing a loop near Canberra. It has just landed in Sydney at 12.08pm

It has had a technical issue and has dropped into Sydney for rectification. Should be on its way this afternoon.

The A380 flew over our place at Cherrybrook just before turning onto a 14 mile final for 16R and it was venting fuel quiet spectacularly as it passed at 3,000 feet with a trail that was caught by the sun. They must have been still trying to get to maximum landing weight and had declared an emergency.

Interesting. I was watching it's pushback this morning out of MEL and it had to hold taxiing due to a technical issue. One in the same I'm guessing.

Whatever the issue was it's obviously resolved as she's back in the air again as QF93. Only just out of SYD
