Default Skyforce 146s

Hi All

Does anyone know what's happening with VH-SIF (ex G-ZAPN) which arrived in Bankstown for Skyforce back in April? According to flightaware it hasn't flown since. Is there an arrival date for G-ZAPK which was meant to arrive "at the end of the year"?

Thanks!
Rowan

Rowan i believe 2nd one still due Nov 2013.The first one has been granted freight rights for 1 service a week BNE-NOU, however the delay i believe is in getting it's pax charter AOC.

There is info on both IASC web site and Titan Airways site as well.

More Info.

On a very wet and windy Monday afternoon a large part of Titan history flew out of Stansted for the very last time as we waved off our final remaining BAe aircraft - G-ZAPK.
On 11th November G-ZAPK was handed over to its new owner Skyforce of Australia after completing 17 Years, 6 Months and 17 Days service with Titan Airways.
Not only was G-ZAPK the longest serving aircraft in the fleet it was also the first jet aircraft operated by Titan.
During its long career with us, together with the four subsequently acquired BAe 146s, G-ZAPK enjoyed a varied role, from carrying VIP passengers, including members of the British Royal Family, to transporting the Royal Mail.
Over the years, the 146QC contracts have been great for us with their dual passenger/freight role but their work has been steadily taken over by our larger more fuel efficient Boeing 737QCs.
The departure of the BAe aircraft leaves room for the introduction of newer more modern and economical aircraft types to the Titan fleet - a process which has already begun with an initial Airbus A320 having joined us in May.
