I have not seen QF108 on such a southerly track before, almost crossing the northern tip of New Zealand.
Maybe the winds were more favourable this far south today ! ![]()

Another very southerly track again today for QF108, with the first pickup starting just east of Kiribati and 6953 km out of YSSY.
The track of QF74 from San Francisco slowly merged with the QF108 track, from east of Tonga to just northeast of New Zealand. ![]()

Have read in the past few days of some very strong headwinds causing tech stops in Fiji or NZ. Winds might be better further south maybe.
