Default Rego Request: QF93 14/11

Got an email from QF yesterday advising my flight is now on a 747-400. Was able to go online and select a seat and noticed it is a 4-class 747 Kangaroo configuration. Any idea what the rego would be as normal 747-400 operations for MEL-LAX are the 747-400ER?

I know MEL-LAX shouldn't be a problem for the non-ER 747-400, but isn't the westbound leg going to stretch it a bit assuming that all flights will be full clearing the A380 backlog.

Daniel,

Suspect the backlog from the A380's is generally fixed now.

QF all the same have had a REAL tough week.

If we get into XMAS traffic and no A380s, (just around the corner even in mid Nov) that will be another challenge.

I am sure someone will advise you of the potential rego.

Have a great trip.

Kind regards,

Geoff
