So, do you think the word 'drop' and it's derivatives was used to make the artlicle sound more dramatic to the public or was it just poor use of the english language?
![]() (I'm not saying that going below LSALT isn't unsafe, I'm merely commenting on the way it has been reported without using the word descend!)

It almost seems as if there is a requirement to upgrade the word 1 level beyond what is required:
dropped = plummeted descended = dropped landed = crashed (all said with tongue firmly planted in cheek) ![]()
