Hey
Today while sitting a a classroom at school which happens to be very near CFS airport we heard a really deafening jet noise. Someone I know who wants to join the RAAF said that it was one of the new fighter jets (F-35?). I was just wondering if anyone in the know could tell me if it is common for the RAAF to do training drills at CFS? I know that occasionally they do touch-and-gos in the C-17s (Now that is a deafening noise, the ground and windows shake ![]() Thanks. |

F-18s were on a LJR of Coffs today. No F-35s in Australia.

Probably a silly question but is it possible to find out about these RAAF excersises in advance? Would love to know about them to get some photos

Have a look at this......
http://www.airservices.gov.au/public.../aip.asp?pg=50 I see the annual football circus in Darwin is upon us with the Bathurst Island Grand Final getting its usual special SUP. Doesn't happen anywhere else! Last edited by Robert Zweck; 24th March 2011 at 08:45 AM. |
