Having booked 4 people on Qantas.com for a domestic flight later this month, I now need to cancel 2 people off that booking. My fare conditions allow me to get a credit voucher for another flight within 12 months. Problem is that when I go to cancel them online, I can only cancel all 4 passengers and it won’t let me select the people who are cancelling. I guess that means that I need to call Qantas – so does that mean they will charge a service fee because I am phoning them? If so then that is a blatant rip-off - has anyone had a similar situation (did Qantas charge the fee)?

How about calling them and finding out first before accusing them of a blatant rip off?

It's only an accusation if they in fact charge the fee. Have you tried calling 131313 to talk to someone there lately? Like have half an hour to wait until giving up? Much quicker to find out from people on this board.

another good reason, to make/keep separate reservation references if it is likely the group will be split up, even before travel
