This info is up till 30sep 2011 only
Busiest day totals this year till 30sep only. SYD 940 on 4 march and 15 april MEL 656 on 21 january BNE 654 on 26 August PER 514 on 04 september(Only day Perth has reached 500 ever) In analysis of these stats Sydney has never again reached 1,000 daily movements which was set during the 2000 Olympics. MEL figures were set early in the year when Tiger was operating in full capacity. BNE and PER figures have been set later in the year as these 2 cities keep growing due to the resources charters. All this info is on the Airservices web site but takes time to research. Lloyd |

Maybe one day Brisbane will have a second parallel runway, so we don't have to spend so much time in holding patterns going into Brisy!

I just hope they don't impose a horible movement cap on BNE or on any other Aust City they should allow the Aviation industry to grow in this country which will create more jobs and not keep restricting it.
