Default Light plane crash

Hearing reports of a ultra-light type aircraft down in Lake Jindabyne.
Unknown number of P.O.B..... Emergency services are suggesting that it has been in the water for a few hours.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said four ambulances and police are on scene.

The crash is believed to have happened on Yellow Rock Rd at Raleigh, near Urunga.

There are also reports of smoke in the area.

No further details were immediately available.

Yes seems to be.... 2 P.O.B at the Jindabyne site deceased.

Shortly after 11.30am today, a number of reports were received that an aircraft had crashed into Lake Jindabyne. Police and other emergency services are currently in attendance and a search is underway to locate the pilot and any other persons on board.

Indeed a very sad day ... The aircraft in question was a Kestral amphibian aircraft , a relatively new type in Australia , and registered with RAAus as a recreational aircraft . My condolences to the bereaved families .
