Well it would seem strange for the HK govt slot site to have it there if they werent planning on flying there??? Though I havent seen any IASC applications for HK from them.
The times seem to work (I think I have converted correctly). DEP BNE 2pm Arr HKG 8.50pm (connects to the VS LHR flight) DEP HKG 11.30pm Arr BNE 10am (would be a longer connec from the inbound LHR flight). |

Would this be in expense of MEL-LAX flight? I don't they have enough aircraft for both MEL-LAX and BNE-HKG?

They could also can BNE-LAX and use that aircraft.... so its one or the other that would go.

There has been plenty of speculation on other boards and this board, re MEL-LAX non stops not happening, and flights routed via Sydney.
Also if this slot thing is correct the service does not necessarily have to be daily.I think you would find 3 a week BNE-HKG. Cheers Lloyd |

The slot thing says DAILY slots...
Either MEL-LAX or BNE-LAX would need to be cut to make it happen. |
