Did that port wing tip actually touch, or was it just the votex ?

Looks like he straightened up a little early (high) and then got caught by a gust.

It sure did touch the ground, just type "Lufthansa wing damage" into google images and the first few pics will show you the damage.

Wing tip touch is at offset 41 seconds on the video.

I can't believe anyone attempting to land in 48 knots of reported crosswind when Airbus says the maximum capabity is 33 knots - why would anyone do that?
