Fire breaks out in Perth airport January 15, 2009 - 10:39AM Firefighting crews have been called to Perth International Airport, where a fire has broken out in the Customs area, a Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) spokesman says. The first fire truck was called out at 7.30am (WDT) on Thursday, FESA says, but there is little other information available. The Perth Now website reports that airline crews and passengers have been evacuated. © 2009 AAP
