Tiger and Jetstar is it worth it?

Yeah true, if Tiger had more than one flight a day it would be okay but there is a lot that can happen and with only one flight its a huge risk. I am going to wait until just before the trip to see if I can get some last minute sale fare on Virgin. I would prefer to fly Virgin all the way because I have never had any problem with them not even a delay the 16 times I have flown them.

Last time I flew Qantas in July (even though I did fly with them in September, technically that was a JAL codeshare thing) it was a complete disaster, flight in the morning got cancelled meaning we missed our connection, then the other plane got delayed and we almost missed the connecting flight again.
