Default Tropical Cyclone Ului

Severe Tropical Cyclone Ului is just in the process of crossing the North Queensland coast. Certainly packing a punch as it does, currently a Severe Category 3.

Couple of METAR's from surrounding aerodromes:

Hamilton Island, shortly to see the eye of the cyclone

Proserpine, just starting to get some of the gale force winds

Mackay, while 100km away, is situated in one of the worst parts of the cyclone

24/23 Q1004
RMK RF02.6/020.2
