According to "The Honolulu Advertiser", Hawaiian Airlines plans to add another A330-200 to the nine that will enter its fleet by 2014.
The first three will be leased and are due to be delivered in April, May and November this year so I'm wondering if any of these will be seen in Sydney later this year ? And the U S Department of Transportation has reported that Hawaiian Airlines was the nation's highest-ranked carrier in January for on-time performance, fewest cancellations, and fewest misplaced bags. |

Does anyone know the delivery date of the first one in April?

First aircraft (N380HA "Makali'i") is scheduled for a first flight on 18 March with delivery on Apr 28. The 2nd will arrive in May. Both those aircraft are planned for ops to LAX to maximise crew familiarisation and keep them close to HA maintenance facilities.
The 3rd aircraft will arrive in Nov and will either go to LAS or HND, depending on the outcome of the current slot allocation process between the USA and Japan. They won't be seen in SYD for some time yet I'm afraid. R |

You'd expect HA to have the best on-time performance. It doesn't fly regularly to the most congested East Coast airports and it also is not as susceptible to bad weather. It doesn't snow much in HNL
