VH-OEB upcoming movements
Gday to all. I have noticed VH-OEB doing QF5/6 rather frequently during the last few days. It is as though she is taking a break from her usual longhaul forays. Any idea why this is the case?
Would be most grateful if you could advise on her upcoming movements. Is there any chance she would be going up to BNE to do QF51/52 in the next few days? Thank you very much. |

There is a captains choice tour starting April 26th, I beleive VH-OEB usually operates these tours.

VH-OEB upcoming movements
Thanks Brandon. Just a question. She will arrive into Sydney tomorrow morning as QF6 from SIN. Will there be enough time for her to reposition to BNE to depart as QF51 to SIN tomorrow morning? Please pardon my ignorance. Thank you.

Hi Fabian, that is unlikely I'm afraid as on a Monday a 744 usually positions from BNE to SYD as there is no QF15 departure from BNE to LAX on a Mon. The other 744 stays in BNE and operates the QF51 departure.
Hope that helps Jim

Yes as Jim said it is very unlikely OEB will be in Brisbane tomorrow. Possibly Wednesday as there is no QF16 LAX-BNE, so QF position a B744 from SYD-BNE to operate BNE-SIN or LAX. However Qantas usually only use the 9 747s that have the A380 interior out of BNE (OJS-OJU and OEE-OEJ).

You're right, Jason. She arrived in SIN at 1923. However even the nightshot would not really bring out the beauty of the livery.
