Congratulations to a board member!
Just thought id acknowledge forum member Pavitar "Pavi" Singh who today passed his Instrument Rating flight test on a Piper Warrior out of Clamback and Hennesy at Bankstown Airport.
He has certainly worked very hard for this and no doubt has a great career ahead of him in whatever area of aviation he chooses, although I think he is quite partial to Airlines I think everyone will join in congratulating Pavitar on a fantastic achievement as those who fly know that an Instrument Rating is a difficult and advanced stage of flight training!!! Well done Pavitar.
Just a query, why did you choose to do a SECIR? Now, use it as a licence to learn ONLY at the moment. Cheers Mick |

Congratulations!
You have joined a pretty exclusive club! Realise your limitations as a new IR pilot, and don't go pushing your limits, but go out and use (and most importantly enjoy) it! Again, well done! |

Thanks a lot guys! You're congrats are much appreciated!!
The test wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, smooth conditions today thankfully made it a little less tougher! Mick - I did the SE IFR because I'm unlikely to be doing any IFR Multi engine work in the very near future, but when the time comes, its easier to just upgrade rather than having to do the whole thing in a multi. Once again thanks guys!

Mick, I'm now in the process of trying to find a good flying school to do my instructor rating.
Anyone have good suggestions?
