Went out to the church this morning at the end of runway 16 and did some spotting of the diversions arriving, still a bit hazy when i got there at 11 but was'nt to bad, got a few good photos.

I can confirm that it was the proverbial S***fight!
Until about 5:50 it was misty, but acceptable. Shortly after there was a go around, and the fog rolled in at about 5:55. In the space of about 2 minutes it went from 7000m visibility to 240m. Departing was very very slow... no movement at all for extended periods until about 7:30, and then it was one aircraft at a time. There were 13 aircraft in the queue for start clearance at one point, with an estimate of 5 mins between aircraft. Rather slow, as you can imagine! |

Does anyone know if the delayed CX flight has left MEL for HKG or not? It did not arrive in MEL until 5pm.

The flight to HKG on 21 May has been delayed till tomorrow (22 May) and it is expected to depart at 07:45am. This means there will be two CX134 tomorrow.
